Palin Mania 3: A Super Speech
Outside of the wackos on the left, it’s unanimous. From Hillary supporters to dyed in the wool conservatives and the independents in between, Sarah Palin gave a fantastic speech last night that even left some wishing she were on the top of the ticket. A blog review:

Obama’s bounce gone - and this before Sarah Palin’s introduction & speech (Politico)
“A poll released today by CBS News reports that Barack Obama’s post-Democratic convention bounce has been erased — and that for the first time, John McCain has drawn even with his Democratic opponent in the network’s poll.
[...] the race is knotted at 42 percent apiece, with 12 percent of voters stating that they are undecided, according to CBS. Obama was ahead 48 percent to 40 percent by CBS’ measure following the Democratic convention.
[...] CBS’s findings from Monday to Wednesday — covering the early days of the Republican convention — is particularly noteworthy because generally Obama runs stronger in the CBS poll than in other surveys.
[...] CBS polling concluded Wednesday, so it does not include any effect from last night’s speech by Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
So, this was before Sarah’s speech which, incidentally, was watched by almost the same number of viewers like the Denver Convention’s closing night - so we can reasonably expect to see Saturday some very exciting poll numbers.
PS. Obama’s latest - the surge worked!
The surge worked! Gretchen, let’s tell the children! The fiery re-enter of the would-be commander-in-chief! Obama realized after one year that the surge worked!
I am impressed - this man’s got character, I tell you.
I thought speeches didn’t matter. Or is that just when Obama gives good ones? Give me a break folks. Palin gave a good speech, but it was full of inaccuracies and represents the same bad ideas that have done our country great harm. She is a good person, but her and McCain would be a disaster. What about the last eight years have you liked so much that you want to give the Republicans another chance?
Adam you need to pull your head out of the moveon echo chamber. The economy has grown every year of the Bush administration, 50 million people have been liberated from tyranny and we have not been hit again by terrorists. You are what is referred to as a seminar poster without an original thought only the talking points from moonbat dumb tanks. How is protecting life lowering taxes and protecting freedom bad for our country? Why should we give bumbling fools like Obama Pelosi and Reid any chance at all to ruin our economy, bankrupt our country, emasculate our military and kill freedom of speech?
Adam all you have are your liberal talking points. There are people like myself who love most of what Bush did during his administration. You know, like no attacks since 9/11, low unemployment, growing economy… Oh yeah, you must have missed the readjusted economic growth rate of 3.3% for the second quarter. What happened to the Lame Stream Media’s claim that we are in recession? Did they forget that Bush inherited a first quarter growth rate of -0.47% from Clinton? That’s the closest we’ve come to a recession even with an attack on our country. Where have you been? Oh yeah, you have your head up your arse with the rest of your libtard messiah worshipers.
